1. General regulated power supply selection
First of all, you need to determine the load capacity of the equipment (kW), the working type of the equipment (resistive, inductive, capacitive), the minimum voltage of the power grid (V), and the rated operating voltage of the equipment (V). The following table provides user safety factor reference:
Equipment capacity X safety factor = regulated power supply capacity
|
Load type |
Device type |
Safety factor |

|
SVC Series |
SBW Series |
||
|
Purely resistive load |
Resistance wire, electric furnace, etc. |
1.5~1.8 |
1.2~1.5 |
|
Inductive load |
Elevators, air conditioners, air compressors, electric motors, etc. |
2.5~3 |
2.0~2.5 |
|
Capacitive load |
Computer room, radio and television, etc. |
2.0~2.5 |
1.8~2.0 |
|
Comprehensive load |
Main power distribution and household appliances in factories, hotels |
Inductive load × 3 plus other loads |
Inductive load × 2 plus other loads |
Increase or decrease the safety factor according to the voltage of the grid. (When the grid voltage is ≤325V, the safety factor takes the maximum value) Note: The general air conditioning cooling power conversion formula is 1P=0.8kVA (for reference only)
2. Stabilized power supply for special use environments
Salt air (seaside); high humidity, dripping water, or corrosive gases; desert usage environment (high temperature); high altitude areas
(above 2000 meters); abnormal usage conditions such as large amounts of dust in the air . Negotiate with the manufacturer to customize the power supply.
3. Stabilized power supply for long-distance use
It is suitable for voltage drop problems caused by long-distance power transmission such as tunnel projects, long-distance construction site projects, and oil field development projects. Parameters such as grid transmission distance, power transformer capacity, cable size, equipment capacity, equipment type, pre-start voltage, start-up instantaneous voltage drop, start-up instantaneous current, etc. need to be provided. Negotiate with the manufacturer to customize the power supply.
